This trend has become so popular that some stores have had issues with customers swapping parts between bottles to customize their bottles. 

Junior Liran Avitan, who owns multiple bottles, says that personalization is a large part of the Owala appeal.

“I’ve bought a few of them, and I like switching the tops and bottoms,” Avitan said. “The straw is my favorite part; it just makes everything easier.”
