Onika Tanya Maraj, also known as Nicki Minaj, has recently come back to the music industry with bangers.

In recent years she’s slowly been returning to the hip-hop community, and she did not come to play.

 The female rap artist got her big break all the way back in 2011 when her hit Super Bass topped Billboard at #3 and the album Pink Friday hit #1.

She didn’t stop there and continued to release huge hits like Anaconda and Starships, which also dominated the charts.

However, about three years ago, the queen of rap slowed her musical output.

While she most definitely continued to release music, it wasn’t gaining as much popularity because new competitors had come to the table. Megan the Stallion and Latto were making a name for themselves, taking the spotlight off of Nicki Minaj.

But in recent months the Queen has made it clear that she’s back and doesn’t plan on leaving. 

Her collaboration with Ice Spice and Aqua on Barbie World added to the popularity of the Barbie movie, and her song Red Ruby Da Sleeze gained attention on social media platforms.

Red Ruby Da Sleaze is an iconic song in which Minaj raps about how confident, lavish, and dominant she is in the rap industry.

Additionally, she’s helped lots of young artists boost their platforms through collaborations, such as with Bia on WHOLE LOTTA MONEY and Ice Spice’s Princess Diana.

She also just came out with a song different from her usual sound called Last Time I Saw You, and people are loving it.

Many fans are able to relate to what Nicki Minaj is talking about in this song. She usually uses a lot of beats that go hard; however, Last Time I Saw You is much slower and shows a different musical direction for her.

Minaj recently made an appearance at the 2023 VMAs and received a warm welcome when she got on stage. Minaj also announced her new Pink Friday 2 coming out this Nov. 17. 

The artist has been dropping hints about the album and even unofficial songs that were cut. Furthermore, she has been dropping her photos for the upcoming album and promoting it on social media.

Nicki Mianj has made a huge impact within the hip-hop community throughout her career and paved the way for many new female rap artists. She puts her own unique style on her music, making it her trademark sound, and that’s what people appreciate about her.

Minaj is clever and quick with her lyrics, which is what people love about her.  Not only that but she has an animated rapping style in the voices of her alter egos.  With support from her fans, also known as the “Barbz,” she continues to influence people all over the world.
