Boys Soccer Undefeated in Conference
This is the team’s first CVC title since 2014
The Boys soccer team defeated Wickliffe on Tuesday, Oct. 5, bringing their overall record to 9-3-1, undefeated in the conference.
This is the team’s first CVC title since 2014.
Team captain Ivan Thal emphasized that the entire team has worked hard to achieve this goal.
“Even after daily practices, we’ll come out on the weekend to work on [skills],” he said.
Thal also said one of the best moments was after beating Independence and realizing the title was truly theirs.
“It felt like we really earned it,” he said.
“It felt great because it was a great accomplishment,” midfielder Leo Blond said. “It was one of the big goals for our team this year, and we took care of business.”
“There’s not really one player that’s bigger than the team,” he added. “We win games as a team and lose games as a team.”
