At publication the BHS girls’ soccer team has a 3-3 record. On Sept. 13, they defeated Conneaut 5-0. This was the best performance of the season.
Freshmen Lexi Stovsky and Jaime Rotsky have been the team’s top scorers.
Captain Amy Eisenberg explained that the team’s strength is defense. On the other hand, the team is very young since a lot of players graduated last year.
Coach Art Skupiewicz said, “What I’d like to do is improve the team by getting more youth players to join starting in middle school.” Skupiewicz wants his players to “play to make the team stronger.”
This afternoon, the girls’ soccer team will play Laurel at 5:00.
