If you love sushi and are looking for a new way to enjoy it, Watami Revolving Sushi Bar in Parma is the place to visit.

This unique restaurant offers a modern twist on traditional Japanese dining with a conveyor belt system that brings fresh sushi straight to your table. 

The restaurant has a welcoming modern design. The bright lights, comfortable booths and revolving plates of sushi create an exciting atmosphere. It is a great spot for families, couples and groups of friends to enjoy a fun meal.

Watami Revolving Sushi Bar is not your typical sushi restaurant. You don’t have to order from a menu and wait for a server to bring your food; you can select what you want right off the belt.

The never-ending stream of sushi plates makes it a fun food adventure where you never know what’s coming next. It’s a great way to try new types of sushi.

The first thing we noticed was how fresh the sushi looked. Each piece was carefully assembled and plated nicely, with the fish draped perfectly over the rice and the little toppings sprinkled on the nigiri. It tasted just as good as it looked.

Watami offers a wide variety of sushi options, including classic rolls, nigiri and sashimi. Popular choices include salmon, tuna, shrimp and eel. If you like something spicy, you can try rolls with spicy tuna or spicy mayo. Aside from sushi, Watami also serves other tasty Japanese dishes such as miso soup, seaweed salad or gyoza (Japanese dumplings). 

The sushi doesn’t disappoint. Diners can see four cooks in the back making the food fresh, plating it and putting it right on the belt.

One of the best things about revolving sushi is that if you see something that looks good, you just grab it off the belt. 

If nothing on the belt looks interesting, there is still the option of ordering off the menu. Jaycob loved this option because even though he enjoyed picking random plates, he really wanted to make sure he got his favorites: yellowtail and salmon.

The yellowtail was amazing. It was super soft and practically melted in the mouth. The flavor was so fresh and rich, especially when dipped in a little soy sauce with a bit of wasabi. The salmon was just as good, with a smooth texture and slightly sweet flavor.

Ethan’s favorite dish off the belt was the miso soup and a roll they call the monster roll, which has spicy tuna and avocado with yellowtail and eel sauce on top. 

Although we had eaten at other sushi restaurants, Watami offered dishes that were new to both of us. In fact, one of the best parts about the revolving sushi bar was that it was a good opportunity to try new things. Some of these new dishes we liked, and others not so much. 

But even when we didn’t like something, it was not a big deal because the plates are small. There’s no pressure to order a whole dish and get stuck with something you don’t enjoy. It’s an awesome way to step out of your comfort zone and maybe find a new favorite.

We also liked how simple everything was, there were no crazy toppings or sauces, just really good sushi.

One of the best things about Watami is its affordable prices. The color of the plate indicates how much it costs. This makes it easy to keep track of your spending

Besides the food, the whole experience was a lot of fun. The restaurant had a cool, modern design, and it felt really casual and comfortable. We also liked that we didn’t have to wait a long time for our food because we could grab it right away off the belt. It made everything so much easier.  

The restaurant also makes dining easy with quick service and online reservations. Whether you want a casual lunch or a fun dinner out, Watami is a great choice.

By the end of my meal, we each had tried all sorts of different sushi rolls, nigiri, and even some side dishes that we wouldn’t have normally ordered. By the end of the night, we both had fifteen plates. A really cool feature of the restaurant is that if you eat 15 plates they give you a coin for their prize machine. Jaycob got lucky and got an awesome key chain with an action figure included.

If you’re looking for a fun and delicious dining experience, Watami Revolving Sushi Bar is a great choice. It’s a place that everyone should try at least once.
