The Beachcomber is a student-led, award-winning platform for student journalism and expression.

Bcomber.org, through its web content, provides a prior-reviewed forum for student expression. This website is dedicated to affording an opportunity for all BHS students to express their opinions. All unsigned editorials appearing in The Beachcomber represent the opinions of the individual contributors. They do not necessarily reflect the views of the student body, the staff or the administration of Beachwood High School. The Beachcomber welcomes letters and comments, whether critical, complimentary, or informative. Obscene, libelous or inflammatory comments will be deleted in moderation.

The Beachcomber was designated All-Ohio in 2021-22 for both its printed newspaper and news website by the Ohio Scholastic Media Association.

In spring of 2024, the Beachcomber was designated first place newspaper, first place website and won 27 individual awards.
