Bison Swimmers & Divers Dominate
The Bison swimming & diving teams are in the midst of a remarkable season.
The boys swim team has gone 8-0 this season, winning both the CVC and Valley titles. They also won the sprint invitational on Saturday, Feb. 4.
Nina Mayers is also Valley champion in diving and defeated Mayfield at the dual meet on Jan. 27.
Bison swimmers won CVC titles in the following events:
200 Medley Relay of Kevin Zhang, Derek Fan, Owen Shook and Evan Warner
200 Free – Colin Elwell
50 Free – Evan Warner
200 Free Relay of Colin Elwell, Owen Shook, Kevin Zhang and Evan Warner
Bison swimmers and divers won the Valley division in the following events:
Diving – Nina Mayers
200 IM – Derek Fan
100 Free – Ben Keyerleber
100 Back – Derek Fan
100 Breast – Colin Elwell
Colin Elwell also won CVC athlete of the week.
The swim team is competing at Sectionals today at Spire institute in Geneva.
