Walking through BHS hallways, it is not rare to see many students sporting Beachwood apparel. But this year, a new t-shirt has debuted, and it is unlike any other Beachwood shirt before.
“Our mission right now is to unite Beachwood residents, employees, and anyone associated with Beachwood past and present,” said senior Hillary Sadler, a student in Mr. Perry’s marketing program.
The class known for its revolutionary Green Dream is now selling the “Classic Beachwood Shirt,” an organic t-shirt that comes in teal, pink, green, and gold, with a choice of long-sleeve or short-sleeve.
Senior Alexa Millstein said that the new tees are especially unique in that they do not “solely appeal to current members or past members of the high school, they also appeal to people who live in Beachwood who have never attended the school system.”
“This is not a bison shirt, or a BHS shirt, it’s a community shirt,” Sadler said.
All proceeds go toward the Green Dream project. At publication, over 1100 shirts have been sold, with approximately 100 still available. The shirts have been sold around the globe, including Iraq, Israel, France, England, China, South Africa, and Denmark.
