Hiking & nature club was brand new last year but still managed to attract over 20 people to attend each of their hikes.
Club President Leo Blond is excited about the prospects for the club’s second year.
“We are really excited to have our younger, newer members enjoy the hikes as well,” he said.
With multiple graduated seniors who led the club last year, Blond is excited that there are underclassmen who have stepped into their boots.
For example, sophomore Nate Brecher has taken the role of treasurer and freshman Daniel Park is now the social media manager.
The club has run into a couple of weather cancellations in October and November, but hope to get hiking soon.
