The juniors had a lead of 2,000 spirit points after Friday of spirit week, but the three-point contest, rescheduled for Monday, April 11, provided the seniors with another chance to win. They failed to do so. Juniors swept the three-point contest with Dylan Heiser taking first for boys and Susan Reisman placing first for girls. The overall score for the juniors was 51,000 points and the seniors ended 4,000 points behind with 48,000. Sophomores earned third place, with a total of 32,000 points and freshmen finished last with 29,000. The Class of 2012 is now two-time champion of BHS’s Spirit Week. Junior David Shapiro said, “We are the alpha male and female class. We are faster, stronger, and smarter than everyone else.”
