The Beachcomber staff  had a successful weekend at the Ohio Scholastic Media Association conference held at Kent State on April 10-11, bringing home awards 1st place newspaper, 1st place web site and 37 individual awards.

This is the third consecutive year that the newspaper has won a first place rating and a record number of individual awards.
